NEET MDS 2027 Eligibility Criteria will be released by the National Board of Examination (NBE). The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for MDS will be conducted on 1 March 2023 by the NBE for admissions into various post-graduation medical courses. Applicants must check the NEET MDS 2027 Eligibility Criteria before filling out the online application form. Only those candidates who fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria can apply for the NEET MDS Application Form. Latest Updates

  • NEET MDS exam will be held on 1 March 2023.

NEET MDS 2027 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check their NEET MDS 2023 eligibility criteria as per the last year before filling out the application form. Check all the relevant information related to NEET postgraduate eligibility criteria given below:

  • Candidates must be an age of minimum 20 years.
  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a University/Institute recognised by the DCI.
  • Candidates must be registered with the Dental Council of India (DCI) or State Dental Council (SDC) (permanent/provisional.
  • Must have completed 12 months of compulsory rotatory internship on or before March 31, 2023.

NEET-MDS is the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to MDS Courses which will include the following:
1.  All India 50% quota MDS seats for all States/Union territories of India.
2. State quota seats for all States/Union territories of India.
3. MDS Courses at all Private Dental Colleges, Institutions & Universities all across the country
4. MDS Courses at Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions.
5. Screening exam for dental surgeons (BDS & MDS) for Short Service Commission in Army Dental Corps.

The following dental institutions are not covered by centralized admissions for MDS seats through NEET- MDS:
AIIMS, New Delhi - No State Government/Private Dental College/University shall be conducting any separate entrance for admission to their MDS Courses.
